What materials are used in Amay carbon frames and wheelsets?
We use premium Toray T800/T1000/M46 high-modulus carbon fiber. This advanced material blend allows us to achieve ultra-light weight (902g frame, under 1250g wheelset) while maintaining exceptional stiffness and durability.
What is the weight of the Amay Pegasus bike and carbon wheelset?
The Pegasus carbon frame weighs only 902g, with a complete bike weight of approximately 8.5kg (Size M, without pedals). Our carbon wheelsets weigh under 1250g.
Which wheel depth should I choose — 40mm, 50mm or 60mm?
40mm: Best for climbing, lighter riders, and mountainous terrain.
50mm: The most versatile all-rounder — recommended for most riders.
60mm: Maximum aerodynamics for flat roads, time trials, and triathlons.
Are Amay products tubeless ready?
Yes. All Amay carbon wheelsets are fully tubeless compatible. The Pegasus bike supports up to 700x32C tires.
Is the Pegasus suitable for racing and competitive riding?
Absolutely. The combination of lightweight 306 carbon frame, aerodynamic design, and Shimano 105 Di2 makes it an excellent choice for racing, group rides, and climbing.
